Matters Arising
Transerv – Transerv workers had been spotted examining the holes in the footpaths but no action so far. Marina awaiting response from new Transerv contact – Andy Fraser.
Over 60s & Bonfire night parties – Both events had been a success and were enjoyed by all.
Travelling Expenses – In line with Highland Council rates, a rate of 42 pence per mile was agreed for representing Community Council at meetings, events etc.
WHFP Xmas greetings – it was agreed that rates for a Xmas greeting in the WHFP, from the Community Council, were prohibitive and money would be better spent elsewhere. Donald to send Xmas greeting to Liz for website and posters for Shiel Shop, Petrol station etc.
Scottish Water – Scottish Water had assured people that they should have no concerns about the chloramination plans for the water supply.
Septic tank – concerns had been raised about the Septic tank at Woodlands, Shiel Bridge. Marina was asked to write SEPA to find out more.

AOCB
A82 trunk road – Berwyn was impressed by leaflet campaign and webiste petition, which concentrated on the section of the road which is south of Fort William. Marina was asked to write JF Munro and Stewart Stevenson, supporting the campaign and highlighting the need for ‘our’ part of the A82 being upgraded as well.
Skip – a skip was requested for Glebe Road. Marina to arrange asap.
Website – hostings due to be paid. Renewals fees (£10) to be paid in line with calendar year - due January 2009.
